MODE OF OPERATION
SETEC low level alarm and level control consist of one amplifier unit module SLP, and 3 electrodes, one for each level. The electrodes measure the level by conductivity measuring. LOW LEVEL ALARM
The low level alarm stops the burner and activate the alarm, if the level falls below the electrode of the low level alarm (Electronic delay approx. 10 sec.). The low level alarm automatically resets, when the level is raised above the electrode tip.
LEVEL CONTROL
The pumps start when the level falls below the pump start electrode, and stops when the level reaches the pump stop electrode. Electronic delay approx. 5 sec. eliminates disturbances from splash and rapid level variations. ELECTRODE
The electrode type SEP or SME 32.2 is used in steam boilers. Electrode type SEP is mounted in the SETEC electrode stand with flange connection. (Standard dim.: DN100 PN40 DIN2527). Electrode stands for other dimensions and pressure, can be supplied on request. The electrode SME25 is used in feed water tanks and expansion systems. The electrode is mounted on a socket at the level which will activate the alarm. Connection 1″ BSP PN40.
MODULE
The module is provided with a plug-in connection, and consists of unit for power supply, amplifier, time-delay, relays, signal lamps (LED), test and by pass buttons. The module is produced for wall and panel mounting, and is compensated against variation in the power supply, the conductivity and the ambient temperature.
